Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 2, 2026
AsapBoox ("AsapBoox," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you visit www.asapboox.com, create an AsapBoox account, or use the AsapBoox software and related services (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy applies to both Free and Paid AsapBoox accounts.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create or use an AsapBoox account, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Login and authentication information
- Account preferences and settings
- Account plan and subscription status
A payment method is not required to create an AsapBoox Free account.
Passwords may be processed and stored using authentication and security systems designed to protect login credentials. AsapBoox does not intend to store passwords in readable plaintext form.
Financial and Bookkeeping Data
AsapBoox allows users to enter, upload, organize, classify, and process bookkeeping information.
Information submitted through the Service may include:
- Income and revenue transactions
- Expenses
- Assets
- Liabilities
- Equity information
- Transaction dates
- Transaction descriptions
- Transaction amounts
- Account classifications
- General ledger information
- Accounts payable information where applicable
- Accounts receivable information where applicable
- Other financial and bookkeeping information entered by a user
Users may upload supported CSV or spreadsheet files containing transactions or other bookkeeping information.
AsapBoox does not currently connect directly to users' bank accounts. Transaction information is entered manually or uploaded through supported files.
Information About Other Individuals or Businesses
Users may enter information concerning customers, vendors, contractors, businesses, or other third parties as part of their bookkeeping records.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authority or another lawful basis to provide this information to AsapBoox.
Payment and Subscription Information
The Free plan does not require payment information and does not automatically convert into a Paid plan.
If you voluntarily purchase a Paid subscription, AsapBoox uses Stripe to process subscription payments.
Payment information submitted during checkout may be transmitted directly to and processed by Stripe. AsapBoox does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.
We may receive limited payment and subscription information from Stripe, such as:
- Payment status
- Subscription status
- Transaction identifiers
- Payment dates
- Refund information
- Limited billing information
- Subscription cancellation information
We use this information as reasonably necessary to administer Paid subscriptions, payments, refunds, and related account functions.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use AsapBoox, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device information
- Operating system
- Login activity
- Pages or features accessed
- Dates and times of access
- Error and security logs
- Other technical information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service
AsapBoox does not currently use this information for targeted advertising.
2. Free and Paid Plans
AsapBoox offers both Free and Paid plans.
A Free account does not automatically become a Paid account. A user must affirmatively select a Paid plan and authorize payment before being charged for a Paid subscription.
Paid plans may provide additional functionality, higher transaction limits, or additional bookkeeping features.
The applicable features and limitations of each plan may be described within the Service, during checkout, or in the AsapBoox Terms of Service.
3. Free Plan Transaction Limits
The AsapBoox Free plan currently permits a maximum of 1,000 transactions for each bookkeeping month represented in the Service.
The transaction limit is based on the date assigned to each transaction, not the calendar month during which the transaction is entered or uploaded.
For example:
- Up to 1,000 transactions may be dated in January 2026;
- Up to 1,000 transactions may separately be dated in February 2026;
- Up to 1,000 transactions may separately be dated in March 2026; and
- The applicable limit applies separately to each other bookkeeping month.
The allowance does not reset merely because another real-world calendar month begins.
Information concerning plan limitations is also provided in the AsapBoox Terms of Service.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create and maintain Free and Paid user accounts
- Authenticate users
- Provide the AsapBoox bookkeeping software

- Store and process user-entered bookkeeping information
- Generate bookkeeping records and financial reports

- Manage upgrades, cancellations, and downgrades
- Provide customer and technical support
- Communicate about accounts, subscriptions, security, or changes to the Service
- Provide notices concerning downgrades or potential data loss
- Diagnose technical problems
- Maintain and improve the reliability and security of the Service
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and circumvention of plan limitations

- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
AsapBoox does not use customer accounting data for targeted advertising.
5. Artificial Intelligence
AsapBoox does not currently use artificial intelligence to analyze, classify, or generate users' accounting records.
AsapBoox does not currently provide users' financial or accounting data to third-party artificial intelligence providers for AI model training.
If these practices materially change, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
AsapBoox uses third-party service providers to operate the Service.
Depending on the functionality used, information may be processed by providers such as:
- Supabase — database, backend infrastructure, and authentication-related services
- Vercel — application hosting and deployment infrastructure
- Stripe — Paid subscription and payment processing
- Google Authentication Platform — authentication and sign-in functionality where offered
- Microsoft 365 — business communications and administrative services
These providers may process information as reasonably necessary to provide their respective services to AsapBoox.
Their processing may also be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and data-processing agreements.
7. Contractors and Service Personnel
AsapBoox may use contractors or technical service providers to maintain, develop, troubleshoot, secure, or update the Service.
Such persons may receive access to systems or information when reasonably necessary to perform their duties.
Where appropriate, AsapBoox will seek to limit access to information necessary for the applicable work and require appropriate confidentiality or data-protection obligations.
8. Sale and Advertising Use of Personal Information
AsapBoox does not sell users' personal information or financial/accounting data.
AsapBoox does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
We are not in the business of selling customer information to data brokers, advertisers, or marketers.
9. Ownership of Your Data
You retain ownership of the financial, accounting, business, and other data that you submit to AsapBoox.
By submitting data to the Service, you authorize AsapBoox and its service providers to host, store, copy, transmit, process, display, and otherwise use that data only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service, administer applicable plan limits, comply with applicable law, and enforce our agreements.
This authorization does not transfer ownership of your accounting data to AsapBoox.
10. Paid-to-Free Downgrades and Data
Canceling a Paid subscription does not immediately delete your AsapBoox account.
Unless otherwise indicated or required by applicable law, a user who cancels a Paid subscription will continue to receive Paid access through the end of the billing period for which the user has already paid.
At the end of that billing period, the account may be downgraded to the Free plan.
The Free plan has different transaction limits and may have different features than a Paid plan.
If information stored in your Paid account exceeds Free plan limits or depends on Paid-only functionality, some information may be deleted, removed, restricted, or otherwise become unavailable when your account is downgraded.
This may include transactions or information associated with Paid-only features.
Effect of Downgrading on Bookkeeping Records
Loss or removal of information during a downgrade may affect your:
- Account balances
- Income
- Expenses
- Assets
- Liabilities
- Equity
- Profit and loss statements
- Balance sheets
- Statements of cash flows
- Statements of equity
- General ledgers
- Other bookkeeping records and reports
Before a downgrade takes effect, users are responsible for downloading, exporting, or otherwise preserving information they wish to retain.
AsapBoox may provide warnings or require acknowledgment regarding potential data loss before a downgrade.
Additional information regarding Paid-to-Free downgrades is provided in the AsapBoox Terms of Service.
11. Account Deletion Is Different From Downgrading
Downgrading a Paid account to the Free plan is different from deleting an AsapBoox account.
A downgrade allows the account to remain active under the Free plan, subject to Free plan limits and functionality.
Account deletion terminates the user's account and initiates deletion of account and bookkeeping data as described below.
Users with active Paid subscriptions should cancel their subscription before deleting their account to ensure future billing is stopped.
12. Account Deletion and Data Retention
Both Free and Paid users may delete their AsapBoox accounts.
Following account deletion, AsapBoox will delete the user's accounting data and other account data from its active systems, subject to reasonable technical processing time and the exceptions described below.
AsapBoox may retain limited information where retention is required or permitted by applicable law, including where reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations
- Process or document payments and refunds
- Process or defend against chargebacks
- Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
- Comply with court orders, subpoenas, or other lawful requests
Information retained for these purposes will be limited to information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Certain information may temporarily remain in secure backups until those backups are overwritten or deleted through ordinary retention processes.
13. Your Privacy Choices and Requests
Users may review or update certain account information through their AsapBoox accounts.
You may also contact AsapBoox at ra@asapboox.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to AsapBoox, you may have additional privacy rights.
AsapBoox will honor legally required privacy rights applicable to the Service.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be limited or waived.

- Authentication
- Account security
- Maintaining user sessions
- Remembering settings
- Preventing fraud
- Administering account functionality
- Operating and improving the Service
AsapBoox does not currently use advertising cookies or marketing pixels for targeted advertising.
If we introduce advertising, analytics, or other non-essential tracking technologies in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices or consent mechanisms required by applicable law.
16. Do Not Track and Privacy Signals
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals.
Because there is not a universally accepted standard for responding to traditional Do Not Track signals, AsapBoox does not currently respond to such signals.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, AsapBoox will comply with applicable requirements.
17. Data Security
AsapBoox uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet transmission, storage system, database, or software service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Accordingly, AsapBoox cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should notify AsapBoox promptly if they believe their account has been compromised.
18. Children
AsapBoox is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly offer the Service to children under 18.
If we learn that information was collected through the Service from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
19. United States and International Users
AsapBoox is operated from Orange County, California, United States, and is primarily intended for users in the United States.
Individuals outside the United States who choose to use AsapBoox understand that their information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
Availability of the Service in a particular location does not necessarily mean that AsapBoox has been designed to satisfy every law applicable in that jurisdiction.
20. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or security incidents; protect the rights, property, or safety of AsapBoox, its users, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
21. Business Transfers
If AsapBoox is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the business, information associated with the Service may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:
- The Service
- Free or Paid plan functionality
- Our data practices
- Service providers
- Applicable law
When we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes become effective.
